TEMP Essentials was built to bring focus back to foundations. In today’s fast-paced dance culture, many dancers skip the basics, but strong foundations are what create strong, versatile artists. This program helps dancers slow down, train with intention, and truly understand groove, rhythm, and core styles.
By returning to the fundamentals, you don’t move backward. You build the tools that let you grow further, with more control, confidence, and clarity.

12-week in-person training program
Trainings every Sunday from 3-6 pm
Sessions focused on foundations + movement development

CURRICULUM FOCUS
TEMP Essentials is built around 3 monthly focuses:
MONTH 1 — HIP-HOP FOUNDATIONS
Groove, rhythm, musicality, and core hip-hop movement.
MONTH 2 — HOUSE FOUNDATIONS
Footwork, flow, stamina, and movement quality.
MONTH 3 — AFRO FOUNDATIONS
Coordination, texture, cultural movement, and expression.

OUR APPROACH
TEMP Intensive exists to address the lack of mentorship and real guidance within the dance community. Many dancers train consistently but lack direction. They’re unsure of how to approach their growth or navigate their path as artists. This program was created to provide that missing support.
Through mentorship, TEMP Intensive creates a space where dancers are guided with the right tools to build sustainable careers. The focus is not on quick results, but on long-term development rooted in structure and purpose. By the end of the program, dancers walk away with professional headshots and video assets to support their growth as artists.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
12 week mentorship & training program
Two training sessions per week (Thursdays & Sundays)
3-hour sessions per training day (8-11 PM)

Invited guest instructors every month
Movement and mental performance coaching by Shimmy and Julian

Mental ingenuity, self-awareness, and gained focus through intentional practices.
MONTH 2 — PHYSICAL MASTERY (Julian)
Refining movement quality while building athletic conditioning, mobility, and control.
MONTH 3 — CAREER DEVELOPMENT (Tristan)
Exploring career pathways, industry navigation, and using personal tools to create opportunity.
